About the 2025 Elections
The Convocation AGM is scheduled for 20 September 2025
The purposes of the Annual General Meeting is:

to receive the President’s annual report;
-
to receive the Vice-Chancellor’s annual report
-
to conduct any other business which may fall into the functions or objectives of the Convocation.
Vacancies to be Filled
The following 10 vacancies have to be filled via election:

The President of the Convocation, who serves as its chairperson and member of the Council;
-
2 (two) full-time Academic Employees designated by the Convocation;
-
5 (five) Members elected by the Convocation from amongst its Members who are neither Employees, Academic Employees nor Students of the University;
-
2 (two) internal Members elected by the Convocation among its Members (who may be either Employees or Students of the University);
